Sportvision, in conjunction with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), has permanently installed the PITCHf/x pitch tracking system in every MLB stadium. PITCHf/x is a ground-breaking technology that records and reports all aspects about a pitch in real-time with incredible accuracy. PITCHf/x generates a digital record of every pitch throughout the entire season, providing new and exciting ways to enhance game coverage for fans.

The 1st PITCHf/x Summit was a resounding success! The creativity and information exchanged during the weekend’s events were highly valuable and delineated some exciting prospects for the future. Special thanks to Professor Alan Nathan of the University of Illinois for suggesting the event. Thanks also to Alan, Greg Rybarczyk, Harry Pavlidis, Ike Hall, Justin Shaffer, Matthew Thomas, Mike Fast, Mont Hubbard, Peter Jensen, and Ross Paul for excellent, informative, and exciting presentations.
